On Saturday, July 25th, members of the Dallas Tea Party had a 40 minute meeting with Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison. The meeting grew out of an incident at our July 17th rally where the staff at her office refused to meet with Ken to take the letters and ‘potential pink slips’ he’d gathered from him, sending the office security instead. We all realized this was a ’staff issue’ but Kay was gracious enough to want to make up for it by hearing some of our concerns directly.
