Frisco Labor Day Rally

The Collin County Tea Party put on a great event for Labor Day, though it was difficult to get an accurate judge of the numbers. My best stab would be 1,500-1,800 total.

First: NTTP presence.  Pretty good for something we threw together starting 9pm the night before. We got scores more signed up and will be adding them to the lists.

Next, video:  Here’s Michael Williams, Senatorial candidate, and part of his speech.  A real barn-burner from a great candidate:

Michael was soon followed by Wayne Richard, a fine candidate for Brian McCall’s District 66 State Rep. seat (McCall’s Heritage Financial rating is a miserable 47%)

One of the best parts was the opportunity for the ‘angry mob’ to meet and talk extensively with over a dozen candidates at county and state levels. My, do these angry mobsters look confrontational!

The signs were oddly original and homemade- looking for astroturf:

Then there was the t-shirts, including some that aren’t your typical ‘Code Pink’ types (certainly prettier):
