They planned, we found out about it: They showed up; we showed up bigger, by count at the peak 80-28. Many thanks to all our great Tea Partiers, from Carrollton, Dallas, McKinney, Plano, Richardson and elsewhere Not the 10 to 12 to one that we’ve beaten them with several times now, but there’s no point of running up the score on such a weak opponent. We did the equivalent of sending in the second team, contacting a smaller number to start.
Our crack videographer did his magic again; many thanks vvanshel!
Here’s a group shot of about 60% of our crew at the end:

Then there was MoveOn. We saw this large, professionally-printed sign produced with the MoveOn.org logo in the lower right. too bad they can’t spell:

It’s “Whose Side Are You On?”, Dolt! We all misspell and we’ve had a few among our homemade signs done with marker and poster; I’m sure there’s a share of misspellings on this volunteer-maintained site. But if you’re going to spend the money to have a print shop generate a sign, someone involved should know basic English.
The MoveOn minions put on a street play with four dressed up as filthy rich Insurers protesting against Government Health Care. Problem is, when they mingling in with all the VERY middle class jeans and working slacks or REAL opponents of Government Health Care, it was only laughable. One of the Tea Partiers recognized the blond as someone who was arrested for deliberately spitting on a 9-12 rally participant in Ft. Worth.
The Patriot on the left has history of serving his country honorably; the Bad Actor on the right spits on such if she disagrees with them. Any questions?
As a finale for now, a little early video:

Thursday evening, (10/15) TeaPartiers greeted the Obomber as he arrived at the St Francis Hotel in San Francisco, for a Dimocrap fundraiser. A local radio talk host relayed a phoned-in report that the total crowd exceeded 1,000 and was probably closer to 1,500 and that the legitimate grassroots Teapartiers outnumbered all the rest. Nevertheless, Friday morning’s Contra Costa Times showed two pictures of the crowd, one of a few anti-war protesters and the other of pro-obamacare sycophants. No mention was made of Teapartiers.
