A busy November 5th

First up: the rally staged by the Dallas Tea Party at Victory Square near downtown Dalla.  A good crowd of 250-300 for a weekday lunchtime effort. Great Job, DTP!

joker_with_patriotThe biggest hit at the rally? NTTP’s Jim Bright in his terrifying ‘Joker’ persona!  In this picture the choice we face is there; socialism or our Founding Father’s concepts of government.

Next, an exceptional general meeting of the North Texas Tea Party with over 50 attendees (including Janet from the Canton Tea Party!).  They heard a presentation by Steve Armbruster of GOOOH (Get Out Of Our House), whose organizational and candidate development concepts were fascinating, even if their third party advocacy is debatable.  This was followed by a presentation by Dr. Jamie Ronderos  of the Docs4PatientCare, an alternative to the radical AMA.  A fascinating, lively and informative meeting!

Another smaller group from NTTP went to Carrollton to hear Bill Ames discuss the Texas textbook review process and the major issue of ongoing revisionism going on there.
