There was a Unity Rally in Waco this last Friday, bringing back together various conservative factions after some pretty bruising primaries. Waco Tea Party was the sponsoring organization and it drew people for all over the area. Burleson, NorthEast Tarrant County, Johnson County and Arlington Tea Parties all had tables. Of special interest, it provided an opportunity for many of the groups that will do their best to elect Bill Flores in place of Chet Edwards and eliminate the need to ever say ‘Speaker Pelosi’ again. The NTTP will be working in the northern end (Burleson/Granbury) to assist this effort.
