Even though two people with tickets were turned away for being ‘non-Muslim’, one can”t ALWAYS tell one’s religion based on skin color, ethnic background or native language spoken. (Many thanks to the individual involved; it adds to all of our understanding of Muslims). The following tapes are of Tariq Ramadan, the grandson of the founder of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood. (Here is Ramadon’s Wikipedia entry; read carefully on the court cases that initially revoked his visas here- and, after Obama’s election, was restored, setting a dangerous precedence for subverting consular decisions, which are often based on sources that cannot be revealed).
There is nothing completely earth-shattering here; certainly nothing warranting the outright rejection of non-Muslim ticket holders at the door. However, the general tone is one not one of cultural assimilation (which he wrongly assumes inherently destroys one religion; just ask the tens of millions of Chinese Christians, or American Buddhists, or African-American Jews) And, starting about 2:15 on the third video, listen to the ‘messaging’ on ‘Moderate Muslims’. Much of the rest is not super-spicy. Ironically, he think the Tea Party wants to isolate Muslim; what most concerns many of us is the unwillingness by most Muslims to culturally assimilate. These tapes will hopefully help with all our understanding of the Muslim viewpoint- not all of which is negative.
Also, realize they knew several video cameras were running and couldn’t count on all of them friendly. Feel free to discuss below, but keep it polite and reasoned, or deletions WILL occur.

The Wikipedia on Ramadan was really interesting. I think the big problem regarding the Muslim/Islam issues is, at the moment, we do not know what or who to believe regarding the nature of what a Muslim believes. If they are instructed that the ends justify the means and evil things are not evil if they are doing it to expand Islam can they be trusted? The recent history in Europe should be a distinct warning to everyone in the west. With this recent gathering in Richardson, is it a sign of assimilating into the American Culture or is it really one more culture unwilling to assimilate and making demands upon our way of life and our government (city, county, state, and federal)? It is my belief that we need to pay attention to what has happened in Europe when the numbers increased and the governments’ kowtowed to the Muslim/Islamic demands.

What do these Muslim Meetings have to hide? They pretend to be about everything being on the up and up. Also, I understand that the Hyatt Staff was unfriendly. Why?
The Muslim Meeting at your hotel turned out to be a private meeting and had been advertised to the public. Why are these people so secretive? What do they have to hide?

Perhaps this needs to be brought to the attention of ACLJ or a similar legal group. To discriminate in a public accomodation based soley upon race, RELIGION or gender violates the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Thank you for your clear thinking and right action!
Private place of business; they will claim a ‘concern for security’. Besides, the ACLU would not touch this would a 10 foot pole. But we have the right to advertise the intolerance shown by people asking for tolerance themselves.
The ICNA is a front, pure and simple, for much more ominous purposes. Just watch their contempt for the label of ‘moderate Muslims’.

If a Christian group denied access to people they believed not to be Christians to a function like this, the ACLU, Media and liberal machine would be all over them like ugly on Madeline Albright before the function was even over. Typical hypocrisy, same with the muslims as liberals.
