North Texas Tea Party

TeaApproving Scott Turner was a very straight-forward and enthusiastic affair.  Scott is as rock-solid in conservatism as he is in physique, with an ability to lead from the podium or one-on-one.  He has the strength that faith will give- and the practical eye of one experienced in the world.  Never has a novice impressed us with his potential to not only be a voice in a conservative Texas House, but be a LEADER in such a legislature.  Every attempt to throw Scott a curveball in the vetting session was handled thoughtfully and masterfully. He is clearly focused in a way the ‘Powers that be’ will find difficult to disrupt or tempt.  His opponent is a fine man; but Scott’s potential is so great, there was little to discuss after review and interview.  (And we will endeavor NOT to hold the fact that he once played for the Redskins it against him… too much )
