Well, here we go again. Gee, it’s not like a campaign of questionable validity but with sexual overtones has ever been tried on a black male conservative before that was in the way of Establishment goals (Thomas, Cain…BTW: where are all of Cain’s accusers these days?)
Now it’s James White‘s turn. The Austin machine moved Tuffy Hamilton into his district: Tuffy’s election is absolutely critical to the casino gambling interests and their plans for this next session. James White represents a solid vote against the casino interests.
Viola! A last minute ‘scandal’ dealing with two ‘admonishments’ for using ‘inappropriate language’ while discussing a court case dealing with sodomy that was part of a lesson plan 6-7 years ago. Mind you, they were part of a performance review that was ‘exemplary’. But the ‘Powers That Be’, their mudslinging minioins at Murphy Turner & Associates, and their propaganda arms at the Texas Tribune (which only lists White’s response at the VERY bottom of a lengthy article) and Texas Monthly (with no response from White listed at all), are trying to imply James White was forced to leave because of this. (Hardly, he took a better job closer to home.) The Burka piece has a comment that suggests there are ‘letters from parents’; we bet they are having to let the ink fry on those about something that somehow did NOT come up when James was first elected (but was NOT such an impediment.)
We will refer our East Texas brethren to our previous posting on last-minute negative campaigning; if the words there were ever applicable to anything, it’s applicable to this. Any conservative with a lick of sense will stand with James: and be sure to drag family and friends to the polls to let the ‘Powers That Be’ know that this kind of crap will no longer work (Forgive the ‘inappropriate language’.)
And they accuse the Tea Parties of racism; this is just downright disgusting.
James White is TeaApproved and we consider such dirty tactics by his opponents as almost a badge of honor. The ‘Powers That Be’ are so bent on getting Tuffy in there, they dropped over $100,000 in Hamilton’s lap in the last month, including a $50,ooo check from Charlie Geran. Beating James White is that important to Straus and his plans.
We have one request of our Tea Party members and conservative friends: consider making a small donation to James here. What amount would we suggest? The is a PERFECT opportunity to implement the $17.73 project if nothing more.
